FREE energy sample!
I had never been one for energy drinks or shots of caffeine stuff... until I started duck hunting! :) Getting up that early makes ANYBODY need a shot of something.
I've never tried this particular type before, but hey-its a free sample. Totally worth it!

Clothes swapping party!
I'm excited to announce that in just a few short weeks I am attending my first "clothes swapping party"! My friend Rachel got the idea and now i'm addicted to the idea. You could probably have a jewelry swap party, dishes, kids clothes, toys, Christmas decorations... like I am may be all over this :)
Anyway, ours is "Lucky 13" so you have to bring 13 items. I don't have the email in front of me but I want to say a purse, one piece of jewelry, 2 shirts, 1 skirt... and so on. What a NEAT idea! Now I DO realize that you all have to be around the same size for it to work. AND you have to go into the party with "no hard feelings"rule. If I DONT find a shirt that I want to pick then I will try to get something else. But I also may decide that my shoes are the only shoes that fit and I can't part with them! ha! Me and my shoes...
Anyway, thats an idea that my friend came up with and I think its going to be awesome. THere will be about 5 of us which is the perfect amount.
Just a thought.. maybe something that you'd want to try. It's a great way to get new items without spending a dime.

When you become a member you get to browse through samples and figure out which ones you want. I got mine today! Now I will say that I filled this out about a month ago so don't expect it tomorrow. I got a sample of tampons, shampoo (Pantene and Head and Shoulders) And a few coupons!

FREE brake evaluation
I'm not a car person by any means, but i do know that mainteance on your car is VERY important if you want to keep your car healthy and running well.
In today's SEARS circulation ad in your local paper (also can be viewed at Sears.com), they have a coupon for FREE BREAK EVALUATION. It's a $15.00 value and is good on most vehicles.
Since its free, what does it hurt to go in and have those breaks checked. If they say you will need new breaks in the near future then you have a warning and can begin saving today!

Calling all free loaders
Okay, I get that term may be a little strong. BUT…when living frugally, cheap, or whatever you wanna call it you MUST remember that cheap is good, free is better.
Do you pay for things that you could get for free? Well if you do, that is just dumb. Plain and simple…VERY dumb. Have you ever heard of google? Its pretty flippin’ amazing! ha! You can look up anything! don’t buy a book on “how to raise a cat” just google it. Don’t buy a book on how to organize your house…google it! Or go to the library!
This one kills me… I was really in a bind and finally realized that I had NO choice but to get organized. That is my least favorite thing in the world to do, organize that is. Unlike my sister Erica who like does that for a living… i prefer to just let things magically work themselves out. I went to Walmart for my bi-weekly trip and put some extra money aside to buy a ‘planner’. Well…this planner turned out to be the most ridiculous $7.00 I ever spent. There aren’t enough lines, they dont give you space to put things down for saturdays or sundays, and its basically made for people with perfect, petite hand writing. That does not fit me in any way. I write huge, my plans change, it just didn’t work out. So… what did I do…? I googled! You can print out a daily planner, weekly, monthly, however you want it. Go to eprintablecalendars.com. THis site is pretty amazing!! Talk about getting organized at NO cost to you! Put in a binder you have laying around or a folder that you ALREADY have (everyone has those lying around) and wah-lah! You are organized!
Join the website shopathome.com. I INSTANTLY printed out a coupon for a free chips and queso at Chili’s AND a free desert. I recieved a ton of samples like shampoo’s and tooth paste in the mail. Cost me nothing… a little time I guess. But it was worth it.
Don’t buy cook books…google! Or more fun than that…look up blogs! A lot of people have blogs on easy to make recipes. I know just in my facebook list of friends I have about 6 that constantly update their blog with new and fresh, easy meals to cook!
Make things fun…fun doesn’t have to cost a dime!
